Preserved moss is a beautiful modern element of interior decor. It’s 100% natural raw material. Live moss grows in the wild Scandinavian forests. It cannot be cultivated. The moss is collected by hand, goes through the processes of coloring and preservation. The unique texture of moss adds a soft living space to the interior design, makes you want to touch it and feel the breath of the forest.

The moss remains soft and elastic for years, looks natural and has endless possibilities of application in the interior.

Covering surface by preserved moss

Preserved moss WDSLO is reindeer moss that has been preserved with glycerine, soften and coloured to keep it soft and supple to work with. On average 13 oz of moss tops can cover 1sqft. It is no longer living and will not grow or come back to life.

Moss is a natural product, it was cleaned by hand and contains just minor impurities such as leaves and needles.

You can use either the tops (approx. 2-3cm of tops are used for decorating) or also a middle part. For application, please cut the dark roots and then use the hot glue gun. The correct application of moss allows to use up to 80% of the product. But then this decor will please you for years.

Note that the color of the moss is not uniform from the tops to the roots. Dark roots are more visible in the light colors of moss.

Care tips for preserved moss

During the shipping the product may be dry/wet less or more. In any case it could be easily restored. Moss does not need watering or spraying. Also do not place moss near a fireplace, radiator, or air conditioner, as they dry the air. Keep the humidity in the room more than 50% and moss will save its beautiful appearance and brightness.
