This 3-in-1 meter measures the level of wetness between 1 – 10. 
Level 1 means very dry, and level 10 means very wet. No plants can tolerate the two extremes for long, so it is important to often check on all of your plants. It also measures the amount of sun exposure, and pH levels of your soil. Caring for Your Plants

Just insert the probe tip into soil to the plant root level for several minutes, you can get the test result from the indicator pointer immediately. No Battery needed. Please wipe the soil moisture probe with a cloth after each use 
How to Use: 
Step 1: Switch to moisture/pH ght as needed.
Step 2: Insert the probe into the soil about 2-4 inches. 
Step 3: Adjust the probe until the pointer on the dial swing slightly. 
Step 4: After Several minutes, Note moisture/pH ght level in the dial.
Step 5: Remove probe from soil and wipe clean after each use. 
Note: 
Do not put it into the water, for use in SOIL ONLY! 
Do not put this moisture meter plants directly against any hard soil ground. 
Do not leave the soil tester in the soil for a long time.
